Ecuador received its counterpart from Chile at the Atahualpa stadium in the city of Quito. Without Gary Medel sanctioned, those led by Juan Antonio Pizzi came out for the victory as visitors. The result could not have been less favorable for a painting that came out with different intentions.
The ‘Roja’ comes from winning two Copa América and – sometimes – their players indulge in what they most want. However, faced with such a thrashing at Atahualpa, it seems that those selected will not have any prizes after the match. It turns out that the leadership would have ordered a dozen pizzas for after the clash with the Ecuadorians.
This was reported by CDF through its Twitter account. The request was made by the leading members of the Chilean National Team to Papa Johns (a restaurant specializing in this type of food) which is located half a block from the Ecuadorian venue.
Players like Arturo Vidal, Alexis Sánchez, Claudio Bravo, Charles Aránguiz and Eduardo Vargas could have indulged. The win, however, is not to spend it eating pizzas. What will happen?
