Liverpool requested a large number of tickets for the final against Real Madrid for the Champions League

The group ‘Red’ will fulfill their anthem “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, since they have received 35,500 requests for tickets for the final of the Champions League. Liverpool will clash against Real Madrid in a vibrant match on May 28 in Paris.

According to the club, 29.5% of the fans who have asked for one will get it and that is that 63% of the 19,600 tickets that UEFA has given to the English club will go to general fans.

In addition, an additional 21% will go to those fans with priority and who have a season ticket in the VIP area.

The media and families of the first-team players will take 14% of the tickets, while Liverpool’s business partners will receive the remaining 2%.

UEFA distributed 19,600 tickets to each team and kept 35,000, with the Stade de France having a capacity for around 75,000 spectators. This was criticized by Jürgen Klopp, manager of the English, who asked himself: “Where do the UEFA tickets go?”.

The lucky Liverpool supporters who get a ticket will be notified this Thursday and will be able to purchase their tickets from Monday 16 May

How did they get to the final?

Real Madrid surprised in two intense games against Manchester City in the semifinals and with an overall result of 5-4 in favor of the whites. Before that, Carlo Ancelotti’s team beat Chelsea in the quarter-finals and Kylian Mbappé’s PSG in the round of 16.
