The application WhatsApp is always kept up to date. If you want to try new tools in the app, you just need to join the WhatsApp Beta program at the following link. There, Meta, the company behind the app, adds new features such as the reactions that have already reached everyone.
On these servers, for example, the “Communities” tab is being tested, which will work in a similar way to the open Telegram groups. In turn, different alerts and changes to states are tested.
Recently, it was reported that WhatsApp is working on a new button that will appear in all conversations. If you long press on a message, two different menus will appear.
The one at the top is for the reactions via emojis, while the other is all the functions to edit the message. You can even delete it if you wish. Well, there you will also find the “reply” button.
If you press it, it will send you to the keyboard to quote the previous message and reply immediately. This way, the other person knows which message you are referring to when you write.
WhatsApp beta wishes that you no longer have to press and hold the message bubble and wait for the menu to appear, but on the left side it has added a “reply” shortcut.
